Tutoring

Science and Chemistry tutoring that covers the whole course.

I teach KS3 and GCSE sciences and A-level Chemistry for AQA, OCR and Edexcel. Lessons follow the student’s own specification, so the content, wording and question styles match what they will see in the exam.

Lessons run in small groups or one-to-one, in person in Ilford or online. Rates are shared by message.

KS3 and GCSE sciences

Biology, Chemistry and Physics, including Combined Science, from Year 7 to Year 11.

Where do in-person lessons take place?

At my home in Ilford, East London. I share the full address once lessons are arranged.

When are lessons?

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, at times that fit around the school day.

Small group or one-to-one?

Both are available. Small groups are my preferred way to teach: students learn a lot from working through problems together, and each still gets plenty of attention. One-to-one suits students who need a fully tailored plan.

Which exam boards do you cover?

AQA, OCR and Edexcel. Lessons follow the student’s own specification, so the content and question styles match their exams.

Can lessons be online?

Yes. Online lessons follow the same structure as in person, so they work well for students who live further away or need flexibility.

How much do lessons cost?

Rates depend on the level and format. Send an enquiry and I’ll reply with current rates and availability.

Should the parent or the student get in touch?

Either is fine. Parents usually arrange lessons, and students are welcome to get in touch themselves too.
